Travelled by Lufthansa Airlines with a stopover in Munich. In this trip, I will cover Scandinavia cities and countries: Helsinki (Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), Oslo (Norway)
The two terminals in Helsinki airport are based on airline alliances, which are OneWorld, StarAlliance and Skyteam. Airlines which are part of the StraAllance or Skyteam(Lufthansa, SAS, KLM) and all the lowcost(Norwegian, Easyjet, airBaltic) operate from T1 and which are part of the OneWorld(Finnair only in Helsinki) operate from T2. And only part of the T2 is non-schengen area, not the whole terminal. Schengen and non-schengen are separated from each other with two bridges. Airlines which operate to non-schengen destinations from Helsinki are Qatar, Japan airlines, Finnair, Aeroflot and a few Chinese airlines. So basically, if you are arriving with Finnair from Schengen country, you end up to the Schengen part of the terminal two, and from non-schengen country to non-schengen part of the terminal. if you are with Lufthansa, KLM or low-cost airlines, you end up in T1. The terminal 1 is only for Schengen country's and T2 for both, non-schengen and Schengen. That is how it goes normally, but all the flights are now operated from T2, because the T1 check-in and security check areas are now currently under renovation, which is going to end up at some point in 2021.
Please subscribe my channel to keep watching my upcoming videos on DELHI TO Scandinavia, where I would be covering countries and cities like Helsinki (Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), Oslo (Norway) and also Tallinn (Estonia) and Munich in Germany during layover at Munich Airport. I will give information on places to stay, travelling between these cities and countries, Cost of living and places to see

Sky Hostel Helsinki is located in Merihaka, right by the urban heart of Hakaniemi / Kallio, at a unique location with a panoramic view over Siltavuorensalmi, Korkeasaari, Tervasaari and the heart of Helsinki – Kruununhaka. The hostel is located on the 11th floor and gives a superb view of the whole city and the sea. Arriving to and travelling in the Helsinki-area is very easy, since the metro and numerous tram and bus lines run close by. You can also just reach us by short walk from anywhere in the city center, for example, 20 min walk from the railway station. Access to the hostel and rooms work via keycode.
In terms of views, we can offer you more than any five-star hotel in Helsinki. Did you know that you can see from our hostel almost all Helsinki landmarks, such as Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, Suomenlinna, Linnanmäki Amusement Park, Parliament House, Korkeasaari Zoo, etc. We give you a unique perspective to see and experience the city with new eyes. On top of it you can watch staggering and unprecedented sunrises and sunsets.
What we value the most in accommodation is privacy and own peace, which is why we stand out from a regular hostel by offering private rooms for 1-2 people. You can stay alone or with your travel companion. In addition to the magnificent city and sea views, all our rooms are equipped with a comfortable beds, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, dishes and TV. Our hostel operates with door codes that you will receive after booking by a text message, so you can arrive to your room after 14:00 at any time convenient to you. It will give you an access to the hostel, its common areas as well as to your own room.
We do not claim in vain that our hostel is one of the best in Finland. In addition to all of the above, we should also mention our location as one and perhaps the most important advantage. It is easy to come here and easy to set out to explore the city, its secrets and life. Merihaka is in the middle of everything. The centre is easily accessible, and you can even walk home from the bar at night. There are numerous tram and bus stops within a radius of 400 meters, as well as Hakaniemi Metro Station. You can reach the city centre in 15 minutes on foot. The famous urban district of Kallio offers the travellers all the services needed and more. The soul of Helsinki blooms with life around the year with its countless restaurants, shops, art and of course; nightlife!
